Reflection for the Third Grading Period

A Staircase Leading to Success

Third Grading Period is about to end. Just like what I've expected from the start of this school year, every quarter is like a staircase. While stepping to a higher stage, the harder it'll be. If second grading period was a bit harder than the first one, well, third grading period was a lot harder than the second. Harder lessons, harder quizzes, harder assignments and harder projects. Also. practice teachers showed up took our teacher's places, which is somewhat great and sometimes not.  I can say that they are really good for they are capable of delivering and teaching the lessons properly in the way that they don't take it so seriously, they are really good jokers when they feel that the class discussion is getting boring. Going back, third grading period never failed to give me a headache. A headache caused by never-ending river of lessons harder than a rock.

In this grading period, I was challenged to be confident. Now, I can raise my hand without any doubts and without asking my seatmate what the answer is. I can say that I am now enjoying this school year.  But just like what happened to the other grading periods, challenges have come on my way. Because of enjoying myself in the school with my peers so much, I forgot reviewing my notes. I forgot making my assignments. Then, I learned to copy on my friend's assignments. (But not so often, ofcourse.) Sometimes, I am practicing the Manana Habit. "I'll make those projects later.""I'll review later." So, I tried going back to the old me. I learned to balance my studies and social life. I divided my time in reviewing and chatting with my friends thru texts and social networking sites. I also practice finishing my requirements before the deadline to avoid myself rushing. (It's really hard, you know.) Now, I can say that I’m on the right track. That’s probably the reason why I got over those circumstances that came on my way to succeeding and complete the Third Grading Period.

Life really has many surprises. Sometimes great, sometimes not. Moving on, And with relation to my studies, I will prove that as long as I am ready to what life brings, I'll be capable of handling it. I'll be much aware with the people around me and with the help that they could lend. I'll be much open to things that are for me and for my growth as a person. If you think, life is getting harder and harder, double your efforts to attain your goals.
