Reflection for the Fourth Grading Period

Image
Observe how time flies so fast. Going back, I was having a hard time posting my first reflection for the First Grading Period. But now, I'm here! Posting my last reflection for the Fourth Grading Period. In this grading period, I have experienced studying in high school at it's hardest point. The hardest lessons in my entire high school life. The hardest equations, the hardest stories to analyze, the pictures edited in photoshop in the hardest way and many others. But, I also learned a lot from these. So much for the lessons, I have learned to finish making my requireme nts before the deadline. I have learned not to be lazy anymore. With the best teachers a student can have, I definitely enjoyed the last grading period for my high school life. But, we can't be happy always. There are problems existing, blocking our ways to profound happiness and contentment. Let's add preparing the files regarding the ECA needed. How about the time preparing the requirements n...

My Dream, My Future

Image
They say, Dreaming is a waste of time. Some say, only the rich and powerful people should only be the one doing these stuff. But for me, Dreaming is for everyone. It is a goal that everyone is trying to achieve. It is the brightest star that everyone is trying to reach. It is not a waste of time and will never be. Having a dream is very important so that one can have an inspiration to strive hard, be responsible and do anything just to achieve the dream and make it a reality. Everyone has a dream. From the richest person on earth to the poorest one. To the people you have seen today. To the person reading these piece. Everyone is a big jigsaw puzzle, and a piece of it is missing. The missing piece is the one they are trying and trying to find to complete they're necessities, wants and their happiness. They are in search for the fulfillment of their dreams for their happiness, for their everyday life, and for their future. As a student, inside me are loads of dreams I wan...

Change: It Starts With Me

Image
They say change is constant. It may be about the things in the world, about the physical appearance of something or someone or about yourself: beliefs, perspectives or your attitude. In the world, there are two kinds of people when dealing with the change of attitude. One is the person who changes from having a bad attitude to a good one, and another is vice versa. Now let me ask you, have you changed for the better or even made an action to do so? If you ask me, I am. There was a lesson that one of our teachers have taught us. He told us that the humanity was born with good attitudes. But as years pass by, their attitudes are slowly turning to a very unpleasant one. They learned how to steal, abuse, kill and many others. I once asked myself, what can I do to bring back the kind of humanity that our teacher was describing. Then one word enlightened my life, CHANGE. Little by little, day by day, I tried changing my life and my attitudes. There was a time when I was about to g...

Kannawidan Ylocos Festival 2015

Image
Ilocos Sur is one of the provinces having the most festivities held and celebrated. One of these is the Kannawidan Ylocos Festival, a week-long festival showcasing the province’s culture and tradition. It was first initiated by the Former Governor and now the Vice Governor DV Savellano. On it’s 8th Year, Gov. Ryan Luis Singson had extended the said festival for almost a month to give chance for the towns and it’s two cities to showcase their very own products and more. Now that the festival is longer, that gives way for more activities than the previous years. But what could these be? Highlighting the 8th Kannawidan are Spiritual Thanksgiving activities such as the Concelebrated Mass at the St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral and the scenic procession of all Municipal Patrons around Vigan. Kinnammet, the traditional boodle fight and the magnificent dancing fountain together with the fireworks displays were first witnessed during the opening of the festival. Other fun activities i...

Reflection for the Third Grading Period

Image
A Staircase Leading to Success Third Grading Period is about to end. Just like what I've expected from the start of this school year, every quarter is like a staircase. While stepping to a higher stage, the harder it'll be. If second grading period was a bit harder than the first one, well, third grading period was a lot harder than the second. Harder lessons, harder quizzes, harder assignments and harder projects. Also. practice teachers showed up took our teacher's places, which is somewhat great and sometimes not.  I can say that they are really good for they are capable of delivering and teaching the lessons properly in the way that they don't take it so seriously, they are really good jokers when they feel that the class discussion is getting boring. Going back, third grading period never failed to give me a headache. A headache caused by never-ending river of lessons harder than a rock. In this grading period, I was challenged to be confident. Now, I ca...

New Year, New Me

Image
Can you observe how fast time flies? How fast the clock tik-toks? Well if not, you should start counting days from now until 2015! Yes, 2014 is about to end. Pack those happy memories and start moving on from those experiences that brought you down. Let us welcome a new year, a new life, new experiences, new lessons to learn, new people to befriend, and most especially, a new you. This year, I have experienced many things, learned many lessons, been to places I've never been before and many others. But just like from the past few years, I also committed mistakes, made lies and done some bad things. Things that I'd like to change for the better. Sometimes, people feel odd making their so called "New Year's Resolutions" because from the start, they are anxious of thinking that they won't eventually complete it, without even trying. I can't blame them, it's really hard to start or change a habit or something, especially when you haven't ...
